Montessori Grammar Box materials follow a certain sequence of isolation when studying parts of speech. Color-coding is different from grammar symbols introduced in Primary, but materials are used together. The Grammar Box VII material set provides activities to explore pronouns and their function as a part of speech.

Using this material, students will explore the function of pronouns as parts of speech. These traditional Montessori materials and activities are also aligned with Science of Reading best practices. Each set contains instructions for different activities and extensions, providing flexibility in meeting a student’s specific needs. Designed for Montessori classroom or homeschool use - also great solution for non-Montessori classrooms for use in student centers or for tier 3 intervention! Grammar Box materials are meant to be used in conjunction with a Grammar Symbols set (not included). This set includes 29 pages of cards, a full set of instructions, and word cards that are 2.5” x 1.5”, color-coded by outline, and designed for rounded corners. Grammar Box VII includes:

a – personal pronouns chart, singular/plural, 1st/2nd/3rd person, adjectival pronouns, 32 corresponding word cards

b – 8 2-sentence sets to work with personal pronouns, corresponding word cards

c – 7 sentences to work with possessive pronouns, corresponding word cards

d – relative pronouns chart, 12 corresponding word cards

e – 8 complete sentences to work with relative pronouns, corresponding word cards

f – 4 pairs of complete sentences to work with demonstrative pronouns, corresponding word cards
