Using this material, students will explore the function of verbs as parts of speech.  These traditional Montessori materials and activities are also aligned with Science of Reading best practices. Each set contains instructions for different activities and extensions, providing flexibility in meeting a student’s specific needs. Designed for Montessori classroom or homeschool use - also great solution for non-Montessori classrooms for use in student centers or for tier 3 intervention!  Grammar Box materials are meant to be used in conjunction with a Grammar Symbols set (not included).  This set includes 21 pages of cards, a full set of instructions, and word cards that are 2.5” x 1.5”, color-coded by outline, and designed for rounded corners.  Grammar Box IV includes:

a – 8 pairs of contrasting verbal phrases, corresponding word cards

b – 8 pairs of verbal phrases including adjectives, corresponding word cards

c – 8 complete simple sentences, corresponding word cards

d – 8 complete sentences with direct objects, corresponding word cards

e – 8 complete sentences with the verb “to be,” corresponding word cards

f – 16 noun cards, 16 verb cards for logical verbs activities

*bonus activity – complete sentences activity focuses on the difference between “give” and “take”
